THE STORY SO FAR

In March 2008, a group of university students felt the calling to start a church on campus with a vision to reach university student communities in Melbourne. XCITE Church started its first service on the 2nd of March, 2008 at Monash University Caulfield Campus. While the journey seemed difficult and impossible in the beginning, supports came from various sources which enable the church to keep growing and expand its presence at the campus.

In the year 2011, Ps. Riza Casidy and the leadership team of the church felt the urge to find a permanent place in Melbourne CBD area to enhance the effectiveness of the church's mission. Through a collaboration initiative with a private college, Chambers Institute, the church secured a permanent place for service at the heart of Melbourne CBD. Since July 2011, XCITE Church holds its services at level 3, 271 Bourke Street, Melbourne CBD.
